Narrative
After secretly raising a disturbingly talented spider, 12-year-old Charlotte must face the facts about her pet and fight for her family’s survival when the once adorable creature quickly transforms into a giant, flesh-eating monster. .. Charlotte named the spider Sting after seeing J.R.R. Sting is not the name of the Hobbit’s spider, but the sword that Bilbo uses to fight spiders. Although it’s supposed to be built in New York, the Australian set falls into it, with the door handles about 3 feet off the ground in the US.

When street view is displayed, cars are parked on the "wrong side" of streets compared to the US. Frank: I don’t think spiders make good pets. You know, spiders don’t have the ability to love. A spider knows only two things – eat and kill. During the credits, it is revealed that Bonnie the dog survived and was taken by Sting.

Sting didn’t really need to be an alien spider, he didn’t have that much to explain, and despite his short running time, he had serious pacing issues. It takes too long to get to the good stuff and then it ends abruptly, but a strong cast, some gruesome murders, and a well-thought-out love for the aliens help make it a fun one-off watch.
Kiah Roache-Turner’s direction gives the film its mood
Alyla Browne and Ryan Corr are the heart of the film, while Jermaine Fowler is the underused comic relief. They lovingly care for each other and try to communicate properly. The arc they go on brings a few surprises, which isn’t a problem because it gives the film some oomph, making you sympathize with them and helping you invest in their survival. a tone that helps as often as it hinders. Starting it all the way makes for a solid hook, and scares are at their strongest when they’re just downright brutal.
Brad Shield’s cinematography glides over impressive sets, giving the film an energy that almost makes up for its slowness
