You’re more of an outsider
Narrative
An anthology series about high-profile crimes or murderers who have captured the public’s attention and notoriety. Evan Peters [Jeffrey Dahmer] says they had one rule that Ryan Murphy [Creator] had to follow: that it never be told from Dahmer’s point of view. “As an audience, you don’t really sympathize with him. You don’t really put yourself in his shoes.
Presented by Jeremy Vine: Episode #5195 (2022)
There’s a 3M Command(TM) tape that’s shown in the kitchen of Jeffery Dahmer’s apartment in many episodes, and it’s later set in 1991. 3M debuted its first wave of Command(TM) products in 1996. It was a tough watch… for a lot of reasons. When all of this happened as a young adult, it’s… what do kids say?… it’s different.
The acting is top-notch
Well, it’s Dahmer’s story. So by default it’s tough, it’s rough, and it’s scary. Every episode…it feels like you’re right there in the room watching this horrific series of events unfold in real time. I don’t know how the actors did it.
Overall, it’s arguably the best portrayal of Dahmer
The timeline changes can be hard to keep up with. It’s not something you can just pause and go back to. You have to rewind or start the episode over. I would recommend watching "My Best Friend Dahmer" before watching this, as it serves as a perfect and fitting prelude.
Recommended for those with a cast iron stomach
Don’t watch this if you’re prone to vomiting.
