Narrative
It follows Rupert Campbell-Black and Tony Badingham as their long-standing rivalry comes to an end. Coincidentally, Aidan Turner previously starred in Chavenage House (The Priory in Rivals). The same filming location was also used to depict Trenwith House in the 2015 BBC television adaptation of Poldark. Absolutely amazing – the wit, the innuendo, the humor, the characters, the 80’s relevance, the cast, the locations – it’s TV show perfection. This kind of television has been gone for at least the last ten years – it has everything. Sentimentality and joy, tears of laughter and sadness, nostalgia on steroids and a cast that plays their roles to perfection. I have not one bad word to say about this show. Hats off to the writers, cast, crew and everyone else involved. I’m watching it a second time because there are too many one-liners worth remembering that you could probably catch the first time around. Well done!
